Our dementia unit "Oak View” has its very own team of dedicated staff who are trained in appropriate methods of allowing those people suffering with dementia and Alzheimers disease to live an active and fulfilling life. Regular therapy and recreational activities are ongoing within the home. The unit boasts its own sensory room which residents enjoy and research evident supports its stimulatory benefits. The unit and staff price themselves on "getting to know" the residents and this promotes effective friendly and trustworthy relationships within the unit.
