About Our Staff and Accommodation
It is our policy to provide continuous staffing to cater to the needs of the residents.
The home is divided into separate units providing residential care and dementia care to provide the best treatment for each individual, catered to their needs and requirements. Everyone is different and so their needs may need to be addressed differently, this is what we work to achieve every day. We aim to provide clean and comfortable care, with our home receiving thorough and professional cleaning services on a weekly basis.
Each of the units has their own team of permanent regular staff who will be involved in the care planning process and ensuring that the relevant care requirements are implemented on a daily basis. Our philosophy is to undertake a holistic approach to care for our residents, to provide not only their day-to-day requirements but also services tailored to emotional, medical and spiritual needs.
Our dementia unit “Oak View” has its very own team of dedicated staff who are trained in appropriate methods of allowing those people suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease to live an active and fulfilling life. Regular therapy and recreational activities are ongoing within the home. The unit boasts its own sensory room which residents enjoy and evidence from research supports its stimulatory benefits. The unit and staff pride themselves on “getting to know” the residents and this promotes effective friendly and trustworthy relationships within the unit.

Our ethos is very simple; to provide our residents with the best care and help them enjoy the rest of their life in a comfortable and safe environment. We are proud of the support that we give our residents every day. We have created an incredibly social environment and fun living space that allows residents to enjoy their time here and make friends along the way. One of our aims is to meet all residents needs and wants wherever possible. Helping ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
